Two days later, I was with Elder Frei and it was "Fearless Friday." We talked to everyone regardless the situation, extended so many commitments, and worked so much in so many different ways. It was quite a brutal day. The sun was pounding; we were dripping in sweat, sunburnt faces, and rejection over and over and over. It was a long hard fought day... and in the last hour of the day between 8pm-9pm we found lots of people who were willing to talk. It was so nice to be able to share our testimony and leave them with something to think about. I know that when we struggle it is only but a small time and there will be a day we are relieved from that struggle and get to experience a heightened amount of joy because of what you just experienced. I was grateful to feel that joy!
Tomorrow Elder Holland and Elder Bednar will be meeting with and addressing our mission! So grateful for their meetings they have here and for the time they squeeze out to meet with us briefly! I look forward to the things they will share with us!
Today we did Koko Head hike and let me tell ya... I’m out of shape lol. It is an old railway right up the face of this mountain and you walk up it like a huge set of stairs.... we made it and it was beautiful but boy am I tired!
I hope you all have a wonderful week, enjoy your time, smile lots... and to all the Mothers, Happy Mother’s day!!
