Peacocks and Goats

This week not to many big things happened but lots of small things happened so I will share a few of those. We were able to go to Pearl Harbor and do service there and that was fun! I found out Peacocks aren't just at Zoos, but they are wild animals, I have seen them before in Hawaii but only on the farms, but this week we saw one by our house! It took me right back to my child hood the second Elder Dorrough took off running trying to catch it, It was like my sister and I at the Boise Zoo! It rained all week again so that was fun, we've been wet for like a week straight lol.

Story of the week; the day was slow and no one was home, we were in this older housing area from back in the plantation days when.... I saw a goat. A goat that had gotten loose. So Being the son of my dad I decided I was going to catch the goat. So I went and caught the goat. Then we took it house to house until we found its owner. When we found the owner she was so grateful and we were able to talk with her for a while and got invited back. I love how the Lord directs us in this work. So our creative finding idea was catching a Goat and it was Successful.

This week was so exciting because we set a lot of things up for this coming weekend. That's part of the excitement for me, is missionary work is never in the past. The results just get bigger and more powerful as time goes on and as people progress. It's because the Gospel is one of progression. Am I doing better today than yesterday? What am I doing today to be better for tomorrow? I am grateful for the Book of Mormon to teach me what I can do better today so I can do better tomorrow! I hope you all have a wonderful week and enjoy whatever plans you have!!
