Aloha nui loa everyone! Hows it? Man
it's a good time to be a missionary! The Lords plan is truly incredible! Wasn’t
conference just awesome! Something Elder Siaosi and I have been talking a lot
about had gotten a ton of attention! It’s so cool how inspired our Prophet, Apostles,
and other leaders of the church are. They are truly called of God to move his
work and glory forward. My week was kinda slow so I just want to tell you a
couple stories since I have been here!
So at Zone Meeting Tuesday, we were
talking about teaching simple and to the understanding and needs of the
investigators. They brought up the acronym KISS and they asked us what it meant
and no one answered and they asked for us all just to say it out loud and so
Elder Pugh and I blurt out "Keep it simple stupid" and everyone looks
at us and starts laughing.. Apparently everyone else says "keep it super
simple"... So yeahhh your Idaho boys get laughed at a lot... hahah
Elder Pugh stuck his hand on the
dart board and so I through the dart and it didn't hit his hand and he was like
now that's trust! Then he told me it was
my turn and he totally stuck me with a dart!! Needless to say… trust doesn't
always go both ways!!
Send me your favorite quote from
conference and I will use them for spiritual thoughts this coming week. (:
Mine is 'Repentance isn't a
behavioral change, but a change of your nature'. How true that is. As we humble
ourselves and come to Christ he makes or weaknesses become strengths. Through
our Faithfulness and diligence in following him in all things we change who we
are not just what we do. It is my testimony that our actions are not enough. In
this world when the adversary has so much pull and effect on every little thing
so we must change our nature. We must develop the characters of Christ in our
own lives, we must deflect and push aside any unrighteous thoughts, actions, or
desires, and we must follow the example of Jesus Christ each and every day. It
is not about perfection, it is about progression. What are you willing to do today
to grow closer to Christ and come to know him... not just about him? It is up
to you. What are you willing to do?

EVERY DAY... Its so humid.
The wall is Hawaiian stacked.. no motor nothing just stacked rocks.
Basketball and volleyball is something we do on Fridays. It's sports night. It's been good bringing in nonmembers and less actives as well as
members to play and get to know one another. It's been really effective. Everyone is invited. We just have fun. Elder Siaosi and I talk with everyone
and make a lot of appointments.
