Elder Logan Porter: Grateful in all things

This week was wonderful! Exchanges, General Conference, and MLC. What a spiritual feast this week was! I am so grateful for a living Prophet. I know that he is called of God and speaks upon the words given to him by our Savior Jesus Christ. As we follow the instruction, example, and guidance given to us we will be lead to a more happy and holy place in life.

This week we had MLC and we heard all about Personal Conversion. It is my most sincere desire for myself to do what my Father in Heaven wants. As well for everyone around me to do the same. I would encourage everyone to go on to LDS.org and watch conference over or for the first time. The things said are life-changing and will lead us to a better place if lived. As we think on an eternal perspective we are only here but a small time and our choices affect us drastically in the long run. Alma 37:35 "O, remember, my son, and learn wisdom in thy youth; yea, learn in thy youth to keep the commandments of God." I pray we all learn wisdom in this lifetime, we learn wisdom by keeping the commandments of God. Let us all strive this week to do better than last week. Take that next step to Christ. Read the Book of Mormon it is the key to spiritual survival. Pray that you may converse with the most High. I wish you all the best week and encourage everyone to find a reason to smile every day!
