Busy day!

This week was so awesome! President Nelson, Elder Holland, and their wives came and spoke to us. It was so special to hear from them. Due to the short time, I'll include my feelings in next week's email. I know more than ever before that he is the Prophet of God.
We went on lots of exchanges and saw many miracles as we followed the spirit. We felt prompted to walk this one road that goes straight up the face of the mountain. As we walked it was like a hike. The last person we talked to, we sat in the garage and had a lesson with. We were so prepared and we needed to be there right then. Such a special moment.
I know God leads our daily lives if we let him. As we go from day to day and ask for his help, miracles happen. A smile will enter our lives and joy will fill our heart. Have a wonderful week and love you all! Don't forget to smile.

Love and Joy

Transfer week is always busy! It is so fun getting the new greenies. They are all so awesome! It’s sad seeing people go home though. Elders I met 20 months ago aren't here anymore. Many memories, laughs, and sacred things happen with many of them; impacts that will last a lifetime for sure.
Elder Dushku my new companion is so awesome. He is such a down to earth and funny guy. He can make the coolest noises, it's quite hilarious. He can play the trumpet with no trumpet lol. We saw lots of cool things this week as we took a step back and got down to the basics and set goals to how we wanted to work this transfer.
We began teaching this guy who is 83 years old! He has lots of great questions; we hope he gains some real intent so he can receive his own answers from our Heavenly Father.
Here is a special story but also shows the type of people Polynesians are. We’re walking around a corner as a lady crossed the street and kind of avoided eye contact a bit. I called out to her letting her know were teaching others about the Book of Mormon and requested a few moments. She immediately stood up and said, "Elders, I'm a member" she crossed the street to us and shared her story briefly. It was amazing. She was so touched and later texted us telling us how much calling out to her meant. It's amazing what happens when we open our mouth. Okay now for the culture. While standing talking with her on the street a van pulls up a man says "Aye Elders here go get yourself some dinner" and hands us a wad of cash and drives off. After this happens we finished talking to Ellen who just saw this happen and she gave us another wad of cash... it happens all the time. I’m so blessed to be recognized as representatives of Jesus Christ.
Today we went on an awesome hike! It was quite long but super fun! It's exciting to see the beautiful creations of our Heavenly Father. I have beeb introduced to so many places by the local people here in Hawaii. I'm loving it here for sure! A great day with the Elders and preparing for an even better week filled with hard work, smiles, and miracles.
HAWAII HONOLULU MISSION THE BEST MISSION
I hope you all have a fantastic week, I wish my brief summary of my week could even do justice to one hour of this amazing experience. I have never been so close to my Savior and friend Jesus Christ. I have never had so much love and joy every day. I have never had so much concern for the immediate and long-term needs of everyone around me. Finally, I have never had such a desire to do Gods will every day as I have at this time in my life. Have a great week, Smile lots, and do some good every day! Much mahalos to you all!
Ps: The Prophet, President Nelson and Elder Holland are coming to Hawaii this week and we get to see them!
