Well Transfer news came and I’m
going to KAUAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol jk....... Kaneohe here I come! It’s
always an interesting time transferring here in Hawaii. It is moving into a
whole new culture. It is different ethnicity of people, different languages,
different climates and its nothing like where you come from. Just one of the
many reasons Hawaii is the best mission! So my Family told me that its getting
below freezing at night and Idaho Falls is getting snow already.. Well not here
in Hawaii it’s hot and humid as always! I’m looking forward to the few degrees
cooler in Kaneohe from here.
This week was interviews and Zone
Conference. It’s always a good time to be with President and Sister Bekker. It’s
always cool to see past companions and mission friends! I conducted the Zone
Conference with 4 zones that came together and looking out into a group of like
85 Missionaries that’s pulling faces and teasing you is quite comical Lol! I
made it through with out laughing haha!
So we have been participating in the
Mission Prep Classes for the stake! It has been so cool to watch them all
progress and improve from what has being taught to them. They are able to come
back and share experiences throughout the week and it’s amazing how ready and
prepared they already are! They are going to make amazing missionaries!
We saw this week that as we follow
promptings no matter how "dumb" they seem miracles happen and we are
blessed.. I stopped a while after seeing this guy across the street and after
being prompted to go back. We turned around and went all the way back. We got
shut down right away by the guy sitting there at the bus stop. So we started
walking away and there was another man we talked to that was so energetic and
excited to learn. He was sooo happy to have a Book of Mormon and to read from
it. I learned when were prompted to go to talk to someone that doesn't mean it’s
that person that’s ready. That just may put you in the spot to meet the person
you are being directed to. No matter how weird or how doubtful you are... when
the spirit speaks... JUST DO IT!!
After being in the city for the past
3 transfers I’m excited to go to more of the country side! Super green and lots
of hikes for future p days! It’ll also be fun because I haven’t met like any of
the missionaries in that zone so I’ll be able to meet a lot of new friends!
Such an exciting time! I hope you all have a wonderful week and enjoy whatever
comes your way! Don’t forget to SMILE!
