Do I live what I know?

This week we had the privilege to have a Zone Conference where we were able to receive training from our Mission President and his wife as well as the Zone Leaders. There was a huge focus on Conversion. Their message has stuck with me the days following and has been on my mind all day today as well. As we look at the examples of the Bible, Book of Mormon, and even modern day people we see that testimonies are not enough, knowledge is not enough. We must be converted and we must understand. Everyone has the ability to be converted and to understand anything in this world, but only few are willing to do the work. Only few are willing to say one more prayer, only few are willing to always remember we are nothing without Heavenly Father, and only few are willing to do this from now until forever. We can all look back and point out the times of great success, faithfulness, and obedience; but why so often are these time short lived? We may find ourselves a day a week or even a month down the road back into old worldly habits and out of the good habits we were trying to form. The path to conversion is hard, it’s never ending, and it may even be unpopular. However, the path to conversion is essential and its life changing. I would ask, are we truly converted? Or can we just say we have a testimony? A good way to know is to ask ourselves, Am I living what I know? Do I understand what Christ expects of me and am I doing it? Family and Friends, like I said conversion is never ending. There is always a next step, a higher level. Let us all strive to take one more step towards Christ this week. Read one more verse, say one more prayer, serve one more person, and ponder 1 minute longer. Conversion is real and necessary for all of us. "If you want to share Light with others, you first must GLOW yourself." -President Thomas S Monson.

We were able to take our recent convert from last week to the Visitors Center to learn more about the Plan of Salvation and Temples. It was a wonderful visit in which we were able to take a tour through many of the displays set up there. It was a beautiful depiction of the Plan of Salvation and how it relates so well to our lives and how we live it. Powerful videos and testimonies from the prophets and gorgeous pictures and explanations of the holy Temples. Such a powerful and spiritual time we had there as we shared testimonies, experiences, and a few tears. I am so grateful to know of Gods plan for me and for every one of us. I am so grateful to have a living Prophet in the world today along with all the apostles and general authorities. To be led by Gods anointed is to be led in the right direction. I am grateful to be sealed to my family for all time and eternity, for the holy Temples in which we make covenants (Promises) with our Father in Heaven and where we deepen our understanding about his plan for us. I know these things are true and as we grow close to them we will experience more joy in our lives.

Family and friends let us have faith. Faith is in the future. Forget the past, learn from it but forget it. In this life you either "PASS" or fail. I hope and pray we will all pass. This is the beginning of the week let’s all work harder and make this week better than the last. Let us all "PASS" I love you all and hope you have a wonderful week full of smiles, laughs, and spiritual experiences!
